This cornbread recipe uses blue cornmeal to make a fun colored pan of tasty bread. This blue skillet cornbread is perfect with chili, ham and beans, or butter and honey.

milk
use buttermilk if you have it

butter
melted

granulated white sugar

blue cornmeal

baking powder

salt

all purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F
Stir together milk, sugar, melted butter, and eggs until combined.
Stir in cornmeal, baking powder and salt until uniform.
Gently stir in flour until just combined (it’s ok if it’s a little lumpy.)
Pour batter into skillet and bake for 22-28 minutes. You want it to be cooked through and very lightly browned.
