This pumpkin butter recipe is a perfect way for pumpkin lovers to enjoy pumpkin all day long. Spread it on toast, stir it into yogurt or bake it into desserts. It makes a great gift too, just put it in a pretty jar and it's ready to go.
In a medium sauce pan of medium high heat, place all of the ingredients and stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce to low heat.
Allow to simmer for 30 minutes or until the mixture has thickened.
Place is mason jars and store in the refrigerator.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to three months.

Feel free to use a Tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice instead of the individual spices if you prefer.You can use maple syrup or brown sugar instead of white sugar if you prefer.
