MiMi's Homemade Cheese Crackers
Make crisp tasty homemade cheese crackers with just a few simple ingredients you can feel good about. Then serve them with your favorite soup, chili or a slice of summer sausage or eat them alone as a great snack.

Ingredients
4
oz.
sharp cheddar cheese
4
Tablespoons
unsalted butter
¼
cup
grated Parmesan
¾
cup
all purpose flour
½
teaspoon
salt
⅛
teaspoon
garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Pour all ingredients into food processor and process until a ball is formed. This may take several minutes. (Don’t give up, it will happen!)
Form into a disk and wrap in plastic.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll dough to 1/8-inch thick and cut into shapes of your choice. Prick with a fork a few times to keep bubbles from forming.
Place crackers on parchment paper covered or greased cookie sheet.
Lightly sprinkle with salt then bake for 10-15 minutes or until slightly browned.
