Optional: Chocolate for dipping stemscandies and sprinkles for decorating
Instructions
In a large pot over the stove, or a large microwave safe bowl, melt together the butter and peanut butter.
Add the marshmallows and cook until just melted. Stirring until the mixture is smooth.
Tint to the desired shade of green with food coloring and stir in the chow mein noodles.
Grease your fingers and working quickly, form lumps of the chow mein mixture into tree shapes on wax paper. Decorate with candies and sprinkles. Allow to set until firm.
If desired dip trunks in chocolate or spread with a bit of melted chocolate.
Once set, store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
