Start your morning off right with a slice of orange cardamom roll. It’s giant size and fun flavors will make it a hit with your family and they won’t have to know you used a shortcut to make it super easy.
Defrost bread dough. When dough is soft but still cold, roll it out on a greased or floured surface until you have a large rectangle. About 10×15 would be great, but it does not need to be exact at all.
Beat together the butter, orange juice, sugar and cardamom. Spread over dough rectangle. Cut dough into strips about 1 – 1 1/2 inches thick. Begin to wrap them around each other, placing them in a greased 8″ cake pan as you go. You want it to be loose, but touching. It should form a giant cinnamon roll or rose shape.
Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise until about doubled in size, roughly an hour.
Remove the plastic wrap and bake in a 350°F oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix together the orange juice and powdered sugar for the glaze and drizzle over warm roll.
