Honey and Pear Steel Cut Oatmeal in the Instant Pot
Deliciously hearty steel cut oatmeal flavored with pears, honey and cinnamon is a perfect way to start the day. Make it in a pressure cooker for a quicker and easier hands off breakfast.

steel cut oats

water

honey

teaspoon
ground cinnamon

fresh pears

Instructions
Clean, core and chop pears into small pieces.
Spray instant pot insert with nonstick spray. Put oats, water, honey, cinnamon, salt and chopped pears into instant pot.
Cook on high pressure for 12 minutes. Then cover the vent with a damp cloth and vent the pressure.
Stir oatmeal and serve warm. Top with more pear slices and a drizzle of honey if desired.
