These fun and easy turkey decorated chocolate and peanut butter rice krispie treats are perfect for Thanksgiving classroom parties or your holiday dessert table. They are no bake and easy to make!
Cut rice krispie bars into rectangle that are about 2″ by 3″.
Melt the chocolate according to the package directions.
Dip one face of a rice krispie bar into the melted chocolate. Place chocolate side up on a piece of wax paper.
Quickly affix two eyeballs in the center of the bar. Then make a half circle of assorted sunflower seeds for tail feathers. Use an orange or yellow sunflower seed as a beak and a red one as a gobbler to complete the face.
Repeat with remaining bars and candies.
Once completely set, store in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to serve.
Notes
You can use a pan of regular marshmallow based rice krispie treats if you prefer them to the chocolate peanut butter version.
