If you have a craving for something sweet and festive, but don’t want to commit to a whole batch of something, this peppermint white chocolate mug cake is for you. It comes together quickly and is a perfect single serve treat!

Ingredients

salted butter

granulated sugar

vanilla extract

peppermint extract
¼
cup
all purpose flour

teaspoon
baking powder

whole milk

white chocolate chips
Instructions
In large mug, melt butter in microwave for 30 seconds.
Add the sugar and extracts, stirring to combine.
Stir in the flour and baking powder next.
Add 2 Tablespoons of milk and stir until smooth. Add the remaining milk and stir until incorporated. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
Microwave on high until there is no more batter sitting on the top of the cake, about 2 minutes. Let cool 1-2 minutes before enjoying.
Garnish with whipped cream, crushed candy canes, chocolate sauce or ice cream if desired.
