Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken
Make a delicious Mexican inspired meal while you do other things! This salsa chicken is so full of flavor and makes the best burrito bowls. Dinner is served!

Ingredients

cups
dried black beans*
1
medium onion
chopped
1½
cups
frozen corn
1
cup
salsa
1
package taco seasoning
3
cups
water
1
pound
Chicken Breasts
cilantro to taste
Instructions
Place black beans in the bottom of slow cooker.
Add diced onion, corn, salsa, taco seasoning and water. Stir to combine. Add chicken breasts.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Using forks, shred chicken and stir in cilantro.
Serve over rice and top with your favorite toppings. We like guacamole, a little more salsa, sour cream, cilantro and cheese.
Notes
*You can use 2 cans of black beans and cut the water to 3/4 cup if you'd like
