Sweet Zucchini Pie tastes like apple pie!

Dutch zucchini pie is made from summer squash, but tastes just like apple pie! The butter crumb topping brings it together to make a perfect summer dessert.


Pie Crust  Zucchini  Sugar  Flour  Cream of Tartar  Lemon Juice  Cinnamon  Nutmeg  Butter

Skin and deseed the zucchini. Slice into thin slices.

Cook the zucchini in a little water. Drain. Add sugar, flour, cream of tartar, lemon juice, cinnamon & nutmeg.

Make a crumb topping from sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter.

Sprinkle crumb mixture over zucchini in pie crust.

Bake until the filling is bubbling and the crumb topping is golden brown.
