Chocolate Chip Muffins with Sourdough Discard

These chocolate chip sourdough muffins are a delicious and nutritious way to start your day. They are quick, easy and full of oatmeal and whole wheat goodness yet they are soft and yummy.

Ingredients

Oats, yogurt, milk, chocolate chips, sourdough discard, sugar, egg, flour, oil,  baking powder,  baking soda, cinnamon, vanilla, salt

Stir together a simple batter. Fresh starter is fine, but so is cold from the fridge or discard.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Scoop batter into a greased muffin tin.

Bake 20-25 minutes

These muffins are a great breakfast or snack. They also freeze well for later.
