Making the macaroni
This recipe is beyond easy to make. Because you don’t precook the pasta, it literally takes a couple of minutes to put together.
You will want to grease the crockpot insert or use a liner. Then dump in a box of raw pasta.
I used large elbows, but shells, rigatoni or any hearty shape will work. Add some milk, water, butter and Velveeta and turn the heat to high.
Stir the mixture after a half hour and then put the lid back on and let it cook. When you are ready to eat, the pasta will be cooked and the cheese will be melted and ooey gooey.
Serve it as a side dish for almost any entree. Or add some chunks or ham or chicken and broccoli to make it a full meal.

- 16 oz. uncooked pasta
- 2 lbs. Velveeta
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
- Spray slow cooker insert.
- Put pasta in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Cut cheese and butter into cubes and put over top of pasta.
- Add milk, water, salt and pepper to the slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 30 minutes.
- Stir then reduce heat to low. Cook for an hour and a half longer then stir again before serving.
